This is our story... 

a story that makes us proud, marked by key dates that have led us to where we are today.

 

3 July 1993

 

The beginning of our fabulous adventure.
The day when Philippe, natural businessman, and Lilian Jacquelinet, Dutch-trained dressmaker said “I do”.
That same day - thanks to a year of accounting fees as a wedding gift - they launched their direct-selling brand of children’s clothing. 
 

2003

 

2003 was a turning point. Captain Tortue went to market with their first iconic women’s collection with chic casual style: Miss Captain.

2004

 

The Group took its first steps abroad to the UK, Ireland and Spain.

2009

 

Two new lines were launched, Trend with a designer spirit, and Java, sportswear and homewear, dressing women for every occasion.

2012 

 

Captain followed their ambition and went further abroad into Austria and Germany. 

2016

 

The last collection made its appearance with Little Miss, a couture line adapted to small sizes.

2016

 

Captain inaugurated its brand-new headquarters in Aix en Provence with 7,400m² dedicated entirely to fashion.

2018

 

Captain celebrated 25 years, a whole quarter-century of love, exchange, fashion and success.

2019

 

Captain launched its own mobile app! Our 3.0 style consultants can plan, prepare and order with a click. Suffice to say, we have overturned all the misconceptions about direct-selling. It is anything but has-been.

2020

 

Our team has grown: 5,500 style consultants in 9 European countries. 

 

And despite being European leader in direct selling in the fashion sector, we have also preserved our family spirit.
